| The Academy's buildings are part of the 53-acre campus of Brenau University, located in the town of Gainesville, Georgia. Gainesville is located in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River and the shore of Lake Lanier, Georgia's largest lake. The governing body for both the Academy and the University is a 36-member Board of Trustees. The endowment for Brenau is $35 million.
