It is never too early to begin encouraging young women to discover their own extraordinary lives. That’s especially true at Brenau Academy, located on the grounds of Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia. One of just two all-girl college preparatory boarding programs in the United States associated with a college, the Academy offers boarding and day students in grades nine through 12 and in a post graduate program an entirely unique opportunity. Here, they can experience college and high school at the same time. Academy students come from across the Southeast, throughout the U.S. and around the world. They come eager to learn, grow and prepare. Along the way, they discover something truly extraordinary: themselves. Brenau Academy was founded in 1928 on the campus of Brenau Women's College by Dr. H.J. Pearce, who saw a need to provide exemplary secondary education to young women.
