Its been called one big slumber party,
but the Brenau living experience is also an awakening. Here, girls bond with new best friends from across the country and around the world. They take exciting weekend excursions together. They become skilled at washing their own laundry and cleaning their own rooms and they grow accustomed to making important day-to-day decisions on their own. Such experiences bear maturity, self-confidence and independence.
Living Leadership: Brenau girls practice leadership skills, learn cooperation and gain confidence working with others in campus clubs and activities including:
-BETA club
-KEY club
-Students for Environmental Action
-Student Government
-Metamorphosis- student published literary and art magazine
-Book Club
The Boarding School Difference: Club membership, community service projects and the guidance of caring faculty and counselors direct each girls special skills and interests toward a kind of college preparation that goes far beyond the academic.
Diverse, motivated and well-rounded, Brenau Academy students are part of a supportive, inclusive community that teaches independence and responsibility- traditional values that help them achieve success at a rate higher than private day school students.
