From the day Brenau Academy opened its doors in 1928, it has been a high school with a purpose: to prepare talented young women for college educations, successful futures, and fulfilling community involvement. Brenau offers students small classes, a college preparatory curriculum, and invested teachers whose priority is to see each young woman do her best. Our staff, teachers, and house directors embrace a combination of support, structure and freedom, allowing students opportunities for fun and individual growth.

The Academy´s unique affiliation with Brenau University, an historic women´s college with whom we share a campus, allows students to make a confident transition into a college atmosphere. Academy students have full access to the University library, athletic facility, cafeteria, and auditorium. Advanced students have the opportunity to get a head start on college by taking college courses at Brenau University, earning credits towards their college education.
